Eoghan Neff....TradWrap

A truely amazing piece earning top mark
and
First Class Honours in his final BMus year

TRADWRAP [5.25], an arrangement by EOGHAN NEFF

A Self-Taught project for the Department of Music, UCC.

THE DUB REEL. I got this from the playing of Michael McGoldrick on his "Morning Rory" album. There is no information on the album to the background of the tune, but its funky flavour is what drew me to it for its use in this project.

It also contains samples from :

"ALL I WANNA SAY"; MICHAEL JACKSON.

"BOOTILICIOUS"; DESTINY'S CHILD.

The recording is copyright controlled. All rights of the owner of the recorded work are reserved. Any unauthorised copying, hiring, lending, public performance and broadcasting of this record prohibited. This recording contains music of other artists and is bound by the laws of copyright.

The recording is for the private use of the artist, Eoghan Neff, only.

A SPECIAL WORD OF THANKS to all the musicians who generously gave their time and artistic energy to this project. It was a pleasure working with such talented musicians, all their creative input was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately SARAH BURKE was unable to attend the recordings but her influence on the vocals section was much appreciated.

THANK YOU PAUL O' DONNELL for an enjoyable “pop rep” course and for the freedom and encouragement to experiment. Also Professor DAVID COX for sparking off the idea of recording music for this project.

A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to TOMÁS MULCAHY - a technology wizard - this project would never have ran so smoothly without his help and expertise.

THANK YOU to my brother FLAITHRÍ for important technical advice through all stages and especially for being so supportive during the earliest stages of the creation of TradWrap.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST thanks to my parents for all the endless time and support, especially during this project; ÉIBHEAR for the chauffeuring and MUIREANN for the excellent catering.
